CHILI COOK-OFF & CELEBRATION OF LIFE COMING TO DOWNTOWN FRANKLIN
Heart of Hospice and the Hospice Promise Foundation will host a full day of community activities on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Downtown Franklin.
The day begins with a Chili Cook-Off on Main Street, with chili tasting from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and judging beginning at 2:30 p.m. Admission to sample the chili is $10, while participation in the cook-off is free.
Then, beginning at 4:00 p.m., the community is invited to the Celebration of Life & Butterfly Release Fundraiser at the Pocket Park, 716 Main Street in Franklin.
The evening will honor and remember loved ones who have passed with a reading of names, a butterfly release, family activities and live music by Chase Landry.
Commemorative butterflies may be purchased for $20 each, with proceeds supporting the Hospice Promise Foundation. T-shirts will also be available for purchase.
